Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. oil of peppermint
  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • food coloring
  • granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Mash the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add peppermint oil and mix well; incorporate food coloring at this stage.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar and knead until the mixture reaches the consistency of pie dough.
  4. Roll the mixture into small marbles.
  5. Coat each marble with granulated sugar.
  6. Press the coated marbles into candy molds.
  7. Unmold immediately and let the candies dry.
  8. Store in covered containers or freeze if desired.
