Ingredients

  • 1 quart canned tomatoes
  • 1 cup soy flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil

Instructions

  1. Blend canned tomatoes, soy flour, onion or garlic salt, and basil in a blender until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and shape into a loaf.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes until firm.
  4. Allow to cool slightly; the loaf may fall slightly during cooling.
  5. Turn out onto a plate to serve.
  6. Slice cold for sandwiches.
