Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups margarine
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. cream margarine, vanilla and sugar together.
  2. Beat until fluffy.
  3. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Shape dough into two long rectangles, wrap well and chill thoroughly.
  5. About an hour.
  6. Slice and bake at 350 degrees for 8- 10 minutes.
