Mom'S Boston Corn Chowder

Instructions
- Melt butter; add onion and green pepper.
- Saute until onion is slightly browned, stirring occasionally.
- Put in a large pot.
- Add potatoes, water, salt and pepper.
- Cover; bring to a boil.
- Switch to a low heat and cook until potatoes are tender.
- Add corn, milk and evaporated milk.
- Heat, stirring frequently, until chowder bubbles slightly.
- Serve immediately.
- Garnish each serving with chopped parsley or paprika if desired.
- Makes 6 servings.
