Mom's Simple Clam Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 large baking potatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) can clams
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 ounces tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Suate bacon, celery and onions.
  2. Mix tomato sauce and clam juice from can.
  3. Add Salt and pepper,sauted bacon, onions and celery and potatoes.
  4. Add milk and clams and simmer 15 minutes.
