A quick and easy monkey coffee cake featuring tender biscuits coated in cinnamon and sugar, layered in a pan, perfect for breakfast or dessert with coffee or tea.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans canned biscuits
  • 3/8 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cut each canned biscuit into four pieces.
  2. Shake the biscuit pieces in a bag or covered bowl with sugar and cinnamon until coated.
  3. Lay the coated biscuit pieces in a greased 9 x 9-inch square pan or Bundt pan.
  4. Cover with sauce and nuts, if desired.
