Instructions
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Add egg yolks.
- Mix well.
- Add sifted flour, baking powder, lemon juice and grated rind.
- Mix well. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Pour into greased and floured large square pan or jelly roll pan.
- Sprinkle top with finely chopped nuts.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.
- Cut with round cutter in shape of half moon (using only half of the cutter).
