Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mostaccioli noodles
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Provolone cheese
  • 4 c. Homemade Tomato Sauce
  • 16 oz. small curd cottage cheese
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the mostaccioli noodles according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, brown the hamburger meat with pepper and garlic.
  3. In a large bowl, stir together the cooked noodles, browned meat, Romano cheese, Provolone cheese, tomato sauce, and cottage cheese until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and cover it with foil.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and sprinkle the shredded Mozzarella cheese on top, then bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes.
