Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted (optional)
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 12 cups flour, approximately

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the sugar in the milk.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons melted butter if you want it a little richer.
  3. Add well beaten eggs.
  4. Add baking powder and nutmeg or lemon.
  5. Thicken with flour and roll.
