Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh mozzarella
  • 3 ripe tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 10 fresh basil leaves
  • salt (optional)
  • sliced black olives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the mozzarella and tomatoes.
  2. Arrange the slices alternating and overlapping on a serving platter.
  3. Sprinkle with oregano, black pepper, and salt to taste.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Top with chopped basil leaves.
  6. Let sit for 30 minutes before serving.
