Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pt marshmallow cream
  • 4 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups chopped walnuts
  • 3 packages (6 oz each) chocolate chips or peanut butter chips
  • 1 can evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Into a large mixing bowl, add margarine, chopped walnuts, vanilla, chocolate or peanut butter chips, and marshmallow cream.
  2. Set aside the mixture.
  3. Make a syrup by combining sugar and evaporated milk in a saucepan.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is well combined.
  5. Bring the syrup to a boil.
  6. Boil the syrup exactly for 12 minutes without stirring.
