Mushroom Bread is a delightful appetizer that combines the earthy flavors of fresh mushrooms with the richness of butter and Parmesan cheese, all wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough. It's perfect for gatherings or as a comforting snack for any mushroom lover.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. If using a round baking stone or pizza pan, separate the crescent roll dough into triangles and pinch the seams together.
  3. If using a rectangular baking stone or cookie sheet, roll out the dough and press the seams together.
  4. Toss the sliced mushrooms in melted butter to coat.
  5. Arrange the mushrooms on top of the dough. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning or garlic salt.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into wedges or squares and serve warm.
