My Drunken Turkey for thanksgiving dinner

Ingredients

  • 750 ml Dark Rum ( you can use any kind)
  • 2 gallon chicken stock or chicken broth
  • 1 each onion roughly chopped
  • 1 bunch celery roughly chopped
  • 1 bunch sage
  • 5 bay leaf
  • 1 gallon milk
  • 1 bunch thyme
  • 10 each black pepper (whole)
  • 3 tbsp ground cumin
  • 10 clove garlic cloves
  • 5 tbsp dry oregano

Instructions

  1. Mix everything together and let sit in the fridge for 2 days
  2. Take the Turkey out and put on a roasting pan with some of the juice bout 1 in.
  3. Pre-heat oven to 250
  4. Cover the Turkey with foil and put in the oven for 16 hrs.
  5. Uncover the Turkey after the 16 hrs and broil for 5 mins or till crispy on the outside
  6. Turn the Turkey on the other side and do the same broil for bout 5 mins and your done enjoy!
