Ingredients

  • 1 lb. carrots
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 small onion
  • butter
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Cut carrots into long julienne strips.
  2. Add sugar to water and boil the carrots for 15 minutes.
  3. Sauté onion in butter until translucent.
  4. Place sautéed onion in a baking dish.
  5. Add cooked carrots, salt, and pepper to taste.
  6. Bake at 400°F until carrots are tender.
