Ingredients

  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons seasoning salt
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 pound whole or split almonds
  • parsley or pine sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Beat the cream cheese until softened and then add the chopped green pepper, chopped onion, seasoning salt, crushed pineapple, and chopped almonds. Chill the mixture.
  2. Mold the chilled mixture into a pear shape on a serving platter.
  3. Starting from the bottom, arrange whole or split almonds in rows to resemble a pine cone.
  4. Garnish with parsley or pine sprigs before serving.
