Never-Fail Caramel Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 6 c. milk
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients and boil for 2 minutes.
  2. Add soda; bring to boil.
  3. Mix together the rest of ingredients and add the first mixture.
  4. Cook until thick.
  5. Simple and good.
  6. You can cut sugar down to 1 cup and is good, but not as sweet.
