Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 heaping tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1 c. milk

Instructions

  1. In a 7 x 11-inch pan, put the oleo.
  2. Place in 350° oven and let it melt.
  3. Take out of oven.
  4. Beat sugar and egg until light yellow. Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt to egg mixture alternately with milk.
  5. Grease pan and pour oleo into batter.
  6. Pour batter into pan; sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
  7. Bake 35 minutes in a 350° oven.
