Great Granola
Ingredients
- 3-4 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup barley flakes ⓘ
- 1 cup oat bran ⓘ
- 1 cup sunflower seeds ⓘ
- 1 cup slivered almonds ⓘ
- 1/2 cup raw, unhulled sesame seeds
- 1 cup other chopped nuts ⓘ
- 1 cup ground flax seeds ⓘ
- 1 cup protein powder (I use whey) ⓘ
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup canola oil ⓘ
- 1/2 cup maple syrup ⓘ
- 1/2 cup honey ⓘ
- 1 Tbls vanilla ⓘ
- 2 Tbls molasses ⓘ
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds ⓘ
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Combine all dry ingredients (to salt)
- The add canola oil through molasses
- Spread in large baking pan lined with parchment paper or sprayed with nonstick spray.
- Bake 35-45 min, or until golden. Stir once or twice during the baking.
- Cool it on the tray, place in large mixing bowl and stir in the pumpkin seeds and craisins.
