Nishua
Nishua is a delightful braided bread infused with cardamom and lightly glazed, perfect for sharing during special occasions or enjoying with tea and friends.

Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit until frothy.
- Warm milk, then add the dissolved yeast and let cool slightly.
- Combine all ingredients except flour and mix thoroughly.
- Gradually add flour, mixing and kneading until a soft dough forms.
- Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
- Divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
- Divide each part into 3 smaller portions.
- Roll each small portion into a long tube with your hands.
- Braid 3 tubes together to form a loaf.
- Place the braided loaf on a greased pan and let rise until puffy.
- Before baking, brush the top with 3/4 tablespoon sugar mixed with a little water for glaze.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes until golden brown.
- After baking, sprinkle with sugar before serving.
