Instructions
- Saute onion in bacon drippings in a saucepan until lightly browned.
- Add potatoes and water.
- Cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until tender.
- Add corn, milk, salt and pepper.
- Heat to serving temperature over low heat, stirring frequently.
- Do not boil.
- Ladle into soup bowls.
- Top with crumbled bacon.
- Serves 5.
