Ingredients

  • 1 box lasagna noodles
  • 3 lb ground beef
  • 16 oz Ricotta cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • parsley flakes
  • onion salt
  • 2 jars Ragu sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Sauté onions (and peppers or mushrooms if desired) until tender.
  3. Add 2 jars of Ragu sauce, parsley flakes, salt, pepper, 2 small cans of tomato puree, and 1 can of tomato paste to the sautéed vegetables and meat.
  4. Simmer the sauce uncovered for 30 minutes.
  5. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  6. Mix ricotta cheese with eggs, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, and onion salt.
  7. Layer cooked noodles, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and shredded mozzarella in a baking dish.
  8. Repeat layers as desired and top with mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
