Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups uncooked oats
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and sugar in a small saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat and add vanilla and chocolate chips.
  3. Stir until chocolate is melted.
  4. Add oats and stir until coated.
  5. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a wax paper covered cookie sheet to cool.
