Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 c. warm canned milk
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/3 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. medium rye flour
  • 3 c. white flour

Instructions

  1. Put yeast, warm water, and warm canned milk into a large bowl.
  2. Add sugar and let stand for 10 minutes.
  3. Add honey, oil, egg, and salt.
  4. Add whole wheat flour, medium rye flour, and white flour.
  5. Mix and let rise until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough.
  7. Knead and shape into desired form.
  8. Let rise again until doubled.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 30 minutes or until done.
