Ingredients

  • 2 c. rolled oats
  • 4 c. water
  • 2 tsp. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. oat bran

Instructions

  1. Blend the oats, water, oil, and salt in a blender for about 30 seconds.
  2. Add oat bran to the blender.
  3. Blend briefly to combine.
  4. Let the batter stand for at least 10 minutes; it may stand overnight if desired.
  5. Before pouring onto the waffle iron, blend briefly again.
  6. Spray the hot waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray and pour the batter to cook the waffles.
