Oatmeal Gingersnaps

Instructions
- Stir together first 6 ingredients and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
- Blend in shortening, molasses and egg.
- Beat well with electric mixer for 2 minutes.
- Form into 1-inch balls.
- Roll in sugar.
- Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Let stand 1 minute.
- Cool on rack.
- Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
