O'Henrietta Bars are rich, chewy oatmeal bars with chocolate and peanut butter, perfect for sweet snack cravings and suitable for picnics, potlucks, or casual gatherings.

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease an 8 or 9-inch square baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine oleo, brown sugar, Karo syrup, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Add quick cook oats and stir until evenly combined.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the prepared baking pan.
- Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the layer.
- Dissolve peanut butter in a small amount of warm water if needed, then evenly spread over the chocolate chips.
- Top with the remaining oat mixture, pressing down gently.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
