- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Scrub the sweet potatoes, prick them several times with a knife or fork, and bake for 1 hour or until very soft when pierced with a knife.
- Remove from the oven and let cool enough to handle.
- Scoop out the insides of the sweet potatoes into a bowl.
- Add orange juice, heavy cream, melted butter, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Mix together until combined, but not smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish.
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until heated through.
