Ingredients

  • 1 lb. stew meat
  • 2 c. chopped carrots
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the stew meat until browned.
  2. In a large stew pot, add all ingredients and water.
  3. Cook on medium-low heat for 2 hours or until the meat falls apart and potatoes are soft.
  4. Serve hot, preferably with cornbread.
