Ingredients

  • 2 c. self-rising meal
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. hot sauce
  • 2 c. thinly sliced fresh or frozen okra
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together. Grease muffin pans.
  2. Place empty pans into oven at 400° for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove and spoon batter into pans and bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
