Old-Fashioned Cucumber Pickles

Instructions
- Mix vinegar, sugar, water and spice.
- Bring to a boil; add cucumbers.
- Return to boil.
- Cook until cucumbers change to dark green.
- Put in jars; cover with juice and seal.
- Any juice left over may be saved and added to next canning juice.
