Instructions
- Cream together sugar, oil and eggs.
- Add milk.
- Sift remaining ingredients together, then add this mixture to the sugar, Mazola oil, eggs and milk.
- Knead like bread dough.
- Roll on floured board 1/2-inch thick.
- Cut in pieces about 3 1/2 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide.
- Then cut through this twice with a knife.
- Drop in hot shortening and brown lightly, then brown other side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
