Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. Wondra flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 2 c. drained canned corn
  • 2 well beaten eggs

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Stir in Wondra flour, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly over low heat until mixture thickens and boils.
  4. Stir in drained canned corn.
  5. Fold in well beaten eggs.
  6. Pour into a greased 1-quart casserole and set in a pan of hot water.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes.
  8. Lower temperature to 350°F and continue baking about 30 minutes until set.
