Instructions
- Melt the butter.
- Add flour and sugar; mix well.
- The batter will be stiff.
- Place in a 9 x 13-inch glass pan.
- Poke holes with a fork once the mixture is in the pan.
- Heat the oven to 275°F (135°C).
- Bake the shortbread for 3 minutes on the bottom rack, then for 1 hour at the same temperature.
- Remove from oven and cut into squares immediately.
