Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup cocoa
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix the cocoa, sugar, and milk over medium heat and bring to a boil.
  2. Cook until soft ball stage is reached.
  3. Remove from heat and add the butter, vanilla, and nuts.
  4. Stir until the mixture loses its gloss.
  5. Pour into a buttered platter.
  6. Let cool before cutting.
