Ingredients

  • 1 package white pudding cake mix (2 layer)
  • 1 package orange flavored Jello (regular size)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 cups frozen whipped cream topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake the white pudding cake mix according to the package directions for a 13 x 9-inch cake.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely after baking.
  3. In a bowl, dissolve the orange flavored Jello in 1 cup of boiling water.
  4. Add 1/2 cup of cold water to the Jello mixture and stir well.
  5. Pour the Jello mixture over the cooled cake, spreading evenly.
  6. Refrigerate the cake to set the Jello layer, about 2 hours.
  7. Once set, top the cake with 2 cups of frozen whipped cream topping before serving.
