Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
  • 2 cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese, sugar, and orange peel; mix until well blended.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough from cans and lay on a floured surface.
  3. Overlap the long edges of the dough to form a 13 x 7-inch rectangle, pressing all edges together to seal.
  4. Spread three-quarters of the cream cheese mixture over the dough rectangle, saving one-quarter for the icing.
  5. Roll up the dough starting at the long side, forming a jelly roll shape.
  6. Cut the rolled dough into 1-inch slices.
  7. Place the slices on a cookie sheet, cut side down, about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
