Orange Flavored Olives

Ingredients

  • 1 jar olives medium large
  • 1 11/16 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 11/16 tablespoons vin santo may substitute with a sweet dessert wine
  • orange juice

Instructions

  1. Rinse the olives well to completely remove the brine.
  2. Mix the oil in a bowl with the vin santo and the juice of 1/2 orange.
  3. Add the mixture to the olives and garnish with the orange zest.
  4. Place the olives in an airtight container.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours, occasionally shaking the container.
