Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks oleo or 1 c. butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 scant c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp. orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp. orange rind
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients in the order given.
  2. Bake in a Bundt or angel food pan for 2 hours at 300°.
