Orange Pecan Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 1/4 c. plain flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. orange rind
  • 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and Crisco with sugar, then add eggs and blend. Add the other ingredients and mix well.
  2. Bake in tube cake pan at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
