Ingredients

  • 1 gallon water
  • 8 family size tea bags
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons whole cloves
  • 1 can pineapple juice (46 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Place water in a large pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Add tea bags, remove from heat, and let steep for 3 minutes.
  3. Combine sugar with 2 cups of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  4. Add whole cloves and boil for 10 minutes, stirring often, until syrupy.
  5. Add the syrup to the brewed tea.
  6. Mix in pineapple juice.
  7. Strain the mixture and serve hot or chilled.
