Ingredients

  • 3 large potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced thin
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Tear four pieces of aluminum foil into 10 x 10-inch squares. Add some potatoes, sliced onion, salt, pepper, and a pat of butter to each piece.
  2. Fold the foil over the ingredients and seal well to create packets.
  3. Place the foil-wrapped potatoes on a hot outdoor grill, keeping them away from direct flames.
  4. Cook for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
