Oven Fried Mullet

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. mullet, cleaned and ready to cook
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. cooking oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine egg and
  2. milk
  3. and
  4. beat
  5. well.
  6. Dip
  7. mullet in batter and roll in bread crumbs.
  8. Place on greased baking pan, skin side down.
  9. Pour
  10. cooking
  11. oil over mullet.
  12. Bake at 450° for 15 to 20 minutes or until brown.
