Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Beat egg whites until foamy.
  3. Gradually add sugar, continuing to beat until egg whites are very stiff.
  4. Fold in vanilla, chocolate chips, and chopped walnuts.
  5. Make 24 to 36 mounds on wax paper-lined cookie sheet.
  6. Place in oven and turn off heat.
  7. Don't peek until morning.
