Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 bread slices (not fresh)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Remove crust from bread slices and cut each into four pieces.
  2. Mix mayonnaise with finely chopped onion.
  3. Spread the mayonnaise mixture on each bread square.
  4. Place the bread squares on a baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Broil until golden brown, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  7. Serve immediately.
