Ingredients

  • 2 cans sliced beets
  • 1 can pineapple chunks
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. water

Instructions

  1. Mix syrup from 1 can pineapple chunks with water and vinegar. Stir in brown sugar, cornstarch and salt.
  2. Cook about 10 minutes. Add pineapple and both cans of drained sliced beets.
  3. Serve hot.
