Ingredients

  • 8 lamb ribs or loin chops or 4 lamb English or sirloin chops (1 inch thick)
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • thin onion slices

Instructions

  1. Set oven control at broil and preheat to 550°F.
  2. Broil chops 3 inches from heat until brown, about 7 minutes.
  3. Cut Swiss cheese slices to fit the chops and set aside.
  4. Turn chops over and broil for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Place onion slices and cheese on each chop and broil for 2 minutes or until the cheese begins to melt.
  6. Serve with potatoes and vegetables.
