Ingredients

  • 1 can white kidney beans, washed
  • 1 can American tomatoes
  • 1 lb. blend
  • 2 dishes ditalini macaroni
  • garlic powder
  • salt

Instructions

  1. In a pot, heat a little oil and add garlic powder; cook until fragrant and lightly browned.
  2. Add the canned tomatoes, salt, and pepper; stir and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Add the washed white kidney beans to the pot and let cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the ditalini macaroni until just tender, then drain.
  5. Add the cooked macaroni to the pot with the beans and tomato mixture; stir well.
  6. If it gets a little dry, add water as needed.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with grated Romano cheese.
