Pasta with Basic Tomato Sauce

- Cut the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces.
- Crush the garlic or cut very finely.
- Add olive oil to a heated pan and cook the tomatoes and garlic.
- Slowly turn up the heat from low to medium.
- The juices should start to come out of the tomatoes, producing a nice sauce.
- Sprinkle a little salt and taste test.
- Next, boil the pasta.
- Take out the pasta when it is just a little shy of al dente, and combine it with the tomato sauce.
- Add more salt if needed.
