Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Great Northern soup beans
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 to 4 slices thick ham
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 large can chicken broth
  • 1 cup cooked elbow macaroni

Instructions

  1. Cook soup beans until done.
  2. Saute one medium onion in butter. Season with 2 to 4 slices of thick chopped ham.
  3. Add one large can tomato sauce.
  4. Add one large can of chicken broth; cook 20 minutes. Add one cup of cooked elbow macaroni when ready to serve.
