Ingredients

  • 1 Pepperidge Farm pastry sheet
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 teaspoons cream cheese
  • 1 beaten egg

Instructions

  1. Thaw the pastry sheet as directed on the package.
  2. Unfold the pastry sheet and cut it into four equal sections.
  3. Roll out each section to add about one inch to each side.
  4. Place one teaspoon of cream cheese in the center of each rolled-out pastry section.
  5. Place a flattened half of a chicken breast on top of the cream cheese.
  6. Roll the pastry around the chicken and secure the edges.
  7. Place the wrapped chicken seam side down on a lightly greased baking pan.
  8. Just before baking, brush the top of each pastry with the beaten egg mixed with one teaspoon of water.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for one hour until golden brown.
